We are unable to run classes at the moment. Renovations have meant that we have had to take a small break. We are hoping to have our classes up and running again by August 2012.

We have some great new workshops planned. We can show you how to make cushions to give your lounge room a quick makeover or a doona cover and pillowcases to brighten up your bedroom. We can also show you how to make some more great kids clothes that look great and are so quick to make that they will becomestaples in your child's wardrobe.

For those of you ready to make the step from beginner to intermediate, we have a series of workshops planned that will skill you further in the use of commercial patterns. By the end of these workshops you will feel confident to use a variety of commercial patterns - traditional, pdf and Japanese Patterns for children.

This is a fun and relaxed two hour workshop.  You will learn how to make a variety of felt and fabric hairclips - they're quick, easy and addictive! You don't need any sewing experience to participate in this class.
The cost of this workshop is $50 which includes tuition, all supplies and morning tea.

Using either the Patricia Tunic or the Sophie Tunic pattern by Sis Boom, we will take you step by step through the process of using a commercial pattern.  This is a fantastic way of broadening your sewing horizons - once you can use a commercial pattern, you can make anything!

The Sophie Tunic is a child’s pattern.  Sizes range from 6 months – 12 year

The Patricia Tunic is the adult version of the same pattern. Sizes range from XS- 3XL


The cost of the 4 hour workshop is $80.  This includes tuition and refreshments.  You will need to purchase the pattern and fabric prior to the workshop.
