What is happening in 2013?
To tailor our classes specifically to your needs we are running our course a little differently this year.
Our Introduction to sewing course runs for six weeks. Each week you can choose from two projects. As always, each project focuses on developing a new skill.
· Week 1 - bunting or serviettes
· Week 2 - appliqued T -shirts or zippered purse
· Week 3 - tote bag or pants
· Weeks 4 and 5 – adult’s A-line skirt or girl’s dress
· Week 6 – this week gives you the chance to finish up your projects, ask any last questions and plan your sewing future!
We supply all of your basic sewing needs – computerized sewing machines, scissors, thread, pins and needles. We no longer supply fabric. You will be supplied with a list of fabric and notion requirements when you enroll in the course.
Dates for this course are Wednesday February 27th, March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and April 3rd.
Classes run from 7.30-9.30pm

Our Open Studio course runs for four weeks.
This series focuses on negotiating commercial patterns through using them with a little bit of extra guidance. We have chosen a number of women's and children's patterns which we believe are perfect for the 'experienced beginner'. You can choose any or all of these patterns and come and spend a couple of hours with us each week and we will help you work your way through them. This series is super flexible - you can choose what you want to make. You'll also be inspired by seeing what others are sewing around you. This course costs $180 for four weeks.
Dates for this course are Wednesday May 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd.
Classes run from 7.30pm - 9.30pm
